right me and a group of mates are going a gig on a thursday and the trains don't run so late. So were planning on hanging around until 6.30am for the first train home. So are there any 24 hour bars open on the said day during the said hours?

Many of the bars and clubs which once opperated on a late license have had them revoked by the police in recent months.

For an all night bar on a Thursday, you're probably better visiting one of the casinos.

Manchester 235 stands out as the best as it closes at 6am. 110 Restaurant and Bar at Circus Casino is better located for the walk to Piccadilly Station however it closes at 1am - although the main casino bar is still open until 5:30am. Both require membership (available on the door with i.d. - a switch or credit card is good enough provided you're on the electoral role).
