I've been to the Gay Village a few times awhile back but I've heard that some bars are trying to keep out straight people (like me!).

Is this true and if so where can I still go out for a good night??

It's true that some bars in The Gay Village are changing to an all-male or all-female policy, however there's still loads to choose from, with the likes of Tribeca and Spirit making it into our current Top 10 bars in Manchester list. Other notable favourites that are also straight friendly are Velvet, Eden and Baa Bar.
