I´m going to Manchester in bussiness tuesday. I´m 29 years old and working in finance. Where should I go? I prefer bars/lounges to nightclubs/concerts.
Thankful for any help! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Manc Rant, |

Whilst nowhere near as packed as a Friday or a Saturday, Tuesday night is still a good night to visit Manchester. Many bars still have enough customers to create an atmosphere, yet are quiet enough not to struggle to get a drink.
Check out the guide to the best bars in Manchester of which you can choose from many. Panacea is a great lounge bar for mixing with a more upmarket (and wannabe) crowd and will be busy enough on a Tuesday night to have a good time. Cloud 23 at The Hilton is a great lounge bar, offering views of the city centre. Tuesday night is a good night to visit as you should avoid the pointless queuing although it can be a bit lonely up there if you're 'on your tod' as they offer table service. Make sure you get one of the long tables as opposed to individual seating if this is the case. 2nd Floor Bar at Harvey Nichols offers another great lounge bar and you can actually sit at the bar, chatting to the barstaff if you're alone. For somewhere more relaxed, try Cask - ideal if you're travelling alone and if you like your foreign ales. It's a very friendly bar and the staff always have time for a chat. Odd, or many of the bars in the Northern Quarter will also be lively and friendly enough. Pure Space and Font Bar at the other end of town are popular venues, whilst Revolution at Deansgate Locks is always lively. |
