Where is the best place to go on match day? I will be in town next week for a few days and for a football game and looking for a good place to drink a few pints before and after the match.

Apart from the pubs around the stadium, nearly all the pubs in the city centre are 'United pubs' and on match days you'll find United fans in all of them. The one's especially popular with local reds are The White Lion and Cask in Castlefield or The Peveril Of The Peak, where Eric Cantona used to drink. You can always get a good sing-song in the huge Wetherspoons at Piccadilly Gardens or The Bishops Blaize, outside the stadium.
