Round 3 hits Manchester, featuring Underground Heroes
Next up we get down and gritty with Underground Heroes in Manchester.
These Chatham boys keep things pretty simple with their straightforward Jam-style cigarette-chuffing grimy punk.
Their live performances have earned them a cult following so expect a raucous night.
Described by NME as “The Ordinary Boys gargling glass”, Underground Heroes were recently awarded second place on Zane Lowe’s ‘Fresh Meat’ for their single “Stella The Mistress”, a belter of a song that promises to "drink, smoke, fight my life away with all the drawly hooligan romance of any Highbury pub on match day".
'Brixton Stories', the Heroes' ridiculously catchy anthem about young love, was voted 'Hottest Record in The World' by The View on Zane Lowe's show of the same name on XFM.
